The questions families ask us first
How long does filming take?
Most families are filmed across one or two unhurried days. Interviews with older relatives are kept short and spread out — an hour at a time, with breaks, is far kinder than one long session and gives us better material.
Where do sessions happen?
Wherever the story actually lives. Usually that is the family home, but it can be the house someone grew up in, a workplace, a garden, or the town a story keeps returning to.
Can grandparents participate?
They are very often the reason a family calls us. We work at their pace, in a room they are comfortable in, and we never ask anyone to perform for the camera. If a day is not a good day, we come back.
How is the final film delivered?
As a film you can watch together and pass on — delivered digitally, with the original footage archived so future generations are not left with a format nobody can open.
